We talked about the pros and cons of synthetic wigs before. You can check it here. Now we can move on to human hair wigs.
Pros of human hair:
You can do anything with human hair. You can dye it, curl it, blow dry it. And thing you will do to your own hair, you can do to human hair wigs also. If you want to be really creative with your hair, you can do anything you want. Human hair wig in general tend to look more realistic than synthetic wigs especially because of the shine factor. That is a huge advantage to me because it makes me feel really comfortable.
Another pro of human hair wigs is the lifespan. The good thing of human hair is that if you take care of it, it will definitely last 2 or 3 years. That’s comforting if you ‘re shelling out that money to know you will be able to not have to worry about making that investment again for awhile.
Cons of human hair:
No.1 con is that it’s so expensive. You can expect to pay upwards $500. It’s understandable because it’s sourced from a real person and that’s really expensive to get and takes a lot of time to manufacture. I totally understand the cost. But it’s definitely something to keep in mind it’s a big investment if you keep human hair piece. So you want to make sure what you get is right for you because there’s nothing worse than sending $1000 on something that you don’t like. You can play around with synthetic pieces to figure out what color and style you want and then get a human hair wig equivalent to that piece. I would definitely recommend try it on first or make sure the piece you are going to buy will let you return if it doesn’t work.
